Going to Italy in three weeks and have nearly zero desire to learn the language 😂 what’s the point? I’ll never go back and I’ll have a guide with me…. I found this video looking for German language. Going there next year with no guide, I will need to learn their language…. Guess it wouldn’t hurt to learn more than one language… so here i am ❤

I am refreshing my beginner's Italian but am aiming, seriously, with fun, to make it my third fluent language: La lingua di mia madre è il francese, parlo anche inglese e lingue americane (car j'ai vécu plus de 12 ans aux Etats-Unis d'Amérique et 23 ans en Grande-Bretagne, toute ma petite famille étant anglaise). Et un peu d'espagnol mexicain B1. L’inglese è una buona lingua da conoscere, ma non abbastanza buona ora per aprire immediatamente le porte commerciali/educative/culturali/artigianali a paesi che non parlano inglese come prima o seconda lingua ufficiale. Oltre alla Brexit britannica e al fatto che molti trumpisti sono ancora estremisti, le persone nel mondo stanno iniziando a usare meno inglese e a passare quando possono al francese, portoghese, russo, spagnolo, ecc... è già iniziato dal 2021. Inoltre, l'inglese è piuttosto limitato nell'esprimere alcune emozioni o sentimenti, così come il linguaggio dei dibattiti. I ADORE because of its melodic singing tones, hand gestures, opera, and antiquity! And the food! Also, you said learn a language for personal enjoyment and pleasure: Italian art, operas and its history as much as their powerful emotional songs and literature (like Dante), as well as a huge flair for fashion, designs, are attracting me much! Certo, essere francese mi aiuterà ad imparare l'italiano, ma solo per alcune basi, dato che la pronuncia come e la coniugazione quanto sono molto diverse! Se a questo si aggiungono le espressioni idiomatiche e le frasi colloquiali italiane, per parlarlo correttamente ci vorrà tempo e voglia. Thank you so much for having been a BIG inspiration for me to reconnect corectly to language power! and THIS time, I am going to enjoy Italian also, as much, for its phonetic pleasure and new thinking! Also...still... it is the 4th most studied language in the world and even Italians are shocked about this!
